Jason
Siegersma (Hunter),
Cheryl Hunter's son loves
to jump!
We at Tumble City recognize the benefits of
physical fitness to an individual’s mind and spirit as well as the body.
Locomotion, Spatial Awareness and Sensory Integration are important facets
of our human development. While there are many
different types of sensory integrative activities, we feel that movement
is one of the most basic. Learning how space and objects relate to our
body and its movement is a fundamental developmental necessity.
Individuals who may experience difficulty in certain types
of touch, motion or interaction benefit from acrobatics due to the nature
of activity. We spin, roll, balance, swing,
jump, sing, hold, crawl, climb, slide, etc. In addition, we use floor time
to encourage social skills and communication skills. In
the process of developing the basic skills for growth, we also learn
gymnastics and acrobatic skills! Strength,
coordination and flexibility are naturally developed over a period of time
with consistent participation.
All our SSTAR staff love children! We are dedicated to
assisting your student in reaching the highest potential in his or her
development.

child with sensory deficit disorders, Wendy has been teaching alongside

in the benefits of floor time.
